Since 1947, the Dior Haute Couture
ateliers in Avenue Montaigne have
housed the fi'nest crafts people
capable of meeting the Couture
challenges set by the ideas of the
creative genius John Galliano in
only a few weeks. “Parisienne” just
like the Dior woman, since 1999 the
designer Victoire de Castellane has,
in her turn, created the finest
jewellery exclusively handmade in
the finest Parisian ateliers.
Therefore, it was only natural that
Dior watches, sewn together by the
know-how, creativity and strict
demands of the watchmaker’s craft,
should see the light of day in the
very cradle of the worldwide
watch-making industry at La
Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland.
Designed in the Avenue Montaigne
studios, developed by a team of
horological experts, constantly
tested for each of its components
and assembled in its production unit
“Les Ateliers Horlogers”, Dior
timepieces are in keeping with the
House of Dior’s logic of excellence. |
